Sale of Wine to Minors
The sale of wine to persons under 18 years of age is prohibited by South African law. By using our online ordering facility, you affirm that you are 18 years of age or older. The person to whom the wine is being delivered must also be 18 years of age or older and proof of age and identification may be requested at the time of delivery. In the case of international delivery, you accept responsibility to follow the laws of our country.
Privacy and Security
We understand and respect the importance of privacy and security. We are committed to protecting the information we collect from you and guarantee that it will only be used for purposes of processing your order and providing you with services you request from us. Under no circumstances will your personal data be made available to any organization or third party. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA).
Not with-standing , no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly P.F. Wines cannot warrant or ensure the security of any information you transmit to, and you do so at your own risk.
Additional Disclaimers
Peter Falke Wines strives to offer the best service possible. However we cannot guarantee the services of any third parties who may be entitled to effect your delivery and, therefore, do not warrant that delivery will always be exactly according to the schedules as set out elsewhere in this document.
Payment Options
Credit cards are the preffered form of payment accepted for online buying. We honour Visa, MasterCard and American Express. In the event that you wish to effect an electronic funds transfer (“EFT”) we request that you contact info@peterfalkewines.co.za
Delivery – Local
All deliveries within South Africa are by Courier and direct to your door. When your order is delivered a signature must be obtained from an adult older than 18 years. Should you not be available to take receipt of your package a note will be left requiring you to contact the Courier office to make arrangements to deliver the package at a suitable time.
Important notice: Any Special Delivery Instructions requesting the courier to leave the package in a specific location effectively gives them permission to deliver the package without a signature.
Please report any breakages or shortages to info@peterfalkewines.co.za within 24 hours, preferably by email and quoting your receipt number.
Insurance: Goods are only insured up to the point of delivery, until a signature is obtained or wherever the goods are left as per your special delivery instructions.

Defective Product / Returns
Your Customer satisfaction is our main priority. If you buy wine from us and for any reason you are dissatisfied with the quality of the product, Peter Falke Wines will endeavour to refund or replace the wine. Please ensure you contact us at marketing@peterfalkewines.co.za within 14 days of receipt of your order to notify us, otherwise you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
If we are not able to source the vintage you requested, we will be able to exchange it for an alternative vintage or refund you if this is not acceptable to you.
If an order is returned or cancelled – the shipping charges incurred when returning it to Peter Falke Wines must be absorbed by yourself. However if the wine or order is found to be faulty, Peter Falke Wines will pay the shipment charges. The acceptance of this charge will be conditional upon you using the same shipper to return the order. In such circumstances, Peter Falke Wines will effect a credit to the value of the returned product on your credit card.
Please note that we are not in a position to exchange or refund any wines which are not to your personal preference. You are welcome to contact us should you require advice on wine selection prior to your purchase of wine.
Intellectual Property Rights
All the content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, designs, colours, layout and trademarks are the intellectual property of Peter Falke Wines and as such protected by South African and International Intellectual Property Law.
Country of Domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Peter Falke Wines chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
